Lucy found her way onto our farm as a stray and we were unable to find her owner nor was she microchipped; so, we decided to welcome Lucy onto our farm with open arms. Caring for and training Lucy has been a special treat. She has challenged us to learn more about native grasses and forage, positive animal training, and challenge us to expand our skill sets.
Vietnamese Potbelly Pig, sometimes referred to as a miniature pot-bellied pig
November 2019 (approximately)
grazing for fresh greens, belly rubs, and rolling around her treat ball
not available for adoption, she’s kind of the boss around here
Bleue was surrendered to the Farm in June 2020 at 3.5 years old, so she is nearly full grown. Arriving dirty and over-weight, Bleue is on a strict diet plan that consists of lots of fresh greens such as spinach. By losing weight, Bleue will have increased mobility and regain some vision as her eyes are shut from overly fat lids.
